On May 22, 1915, the most violent in a multi-year series of eruptions of the Cascade Range’s southernmost volcano devastated surrounding landscapes. This park offers opportunities to climb Lassen Peak and experience bubbling mud pots, boiling-hot pools and venting fumaroles.
